Policy Information Payment We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express), personal checks and money orders. If paying by check or money order and your payment is not received within 10 days, your order will be cancelled. When paying by check, money order, your order will be held until payment clears (7-10 days). Checks returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) will incur a $30 fee. Payments accepted only in U.S. Dollars. Orders Orders can be placed either on our website, mail order, or by telephone. If ordering online, please select the items you wish to purchase. Fill in all relevant information along with method of payment and any special instructions. Confirmation e-mail will be sent advising we have received your order and have begun to process the order as well as the total amount of your order. If placing orders through the mail, please note the items you wish to purchase. Total the order and add the shipping amount to the total of the order. You can send a check or money order or use a credit card for payment. Please be sure to include a telephone number or e-mail address so you can be contacted in case there are any questions regarding your order or form of payment. Mail order to: The Resident Chef, P.O. If paying by money order or personal check, order will be held until payment is received and check has cleared financial institution. Shipping STANDARD DELIVERY: Our standard delivery is USPS Priority Mail and Federal Express Ground. Allow 2-5 days for delivery. Orders are shipped from our location in Little Rock, AR and most are sent USPS priority with delivery confirmation (where available). Please allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Please allow slightly more time during the holiday season, as we may have more volume during these times. Every effort is made to use the least expensive shipping method available. USPS flat rate shipping boxes are frequently used, as we are able to save on shipping costs for orders that contain many items. Rush Delivery is available for an additional $15.00 per order. We can expedite delivery to most destinations. Orders placed by 3:00 pm arrive in two business days, orders placed Friday – Sunday will arrive on Tuesday. Special conditions sometimes apply depending on the type of product purchased in the summer months. Overnight or express shipping may be the only option available. Contact us for questions regarding this policy. Gift Basket Orders are custom made to order. Regular shipping charges to do not apply for baskets as the size and weight may vary depending on the size and the products included in the basket. Please note all custom gift basket shipping is quoted per basket. If your order is very large, we will offer freight from FEDEX ground. You will be contacted with the shipping rates for these services. If you live within driving distance of Little Rock, AR and would like to pick up your order to avoid shipping fees, please make note in the comments section of your order and you will be contacted to arrange pick up. Sorry, at this time we only ship to the United States and Canada. Returns We guarantee the freshest and highest quality items. Each item is made fresh and is made to our high standards. We are confident you will enjoy your purchase, however, if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please let us know and we will make it right.
